Operation Santa Claus (OSC)

Operation Santa Claus (OSC) is an annual fundraising campaign in Hong Kong that supports various charitable projects. Recently, the campaign concluded its latest iteration, raising over HK$19 million, significantly exceeding its initial target of HK$11 million. This year's funds will benefit 13 selected NGOs, including Farm the City and Love 21 Foundation. Farm the City promotes urban farming and healthy eating, while Love 21 Foundation focuses on improving the physical and mental health of the neurodiverse community. The increased fundraising was partly driven by the need to support victims of the Tai Po fire. OSC's ongoing relevance lies in its ability to mobilize community support and provide crucial funding to organizations addressing diverse social needs in Hong Kong, from elderly care and urban agriculture to supporting neurodivergent individuals.
