Purim

In Israel, some communities, particularly ultra-Orthodox areas of Jerusalem, celebrated Purim with traditional festivities despite ongoing regional tensions, including Iranian missile attacks. Simultaneously, in Canada, the holiday was marred by antisemitic incidents. A synagogue was targeted by gunfire on Purim, part of a series of attacks against Jewish institutions in Toronto.
