Ain al-Arab (Kobane)

Ain al-Arab, also known as Kobane, is a Kurdish-majority town located in the Aleppo province of northern Syria. It is newsworthy due to recent fighting between the Syrian army and the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), followed by a US-backed ceasefire agreement aimed at stabilizing northeastern Syria.
