Filton

Filton is the location of a UK-based Elbit Systems factory, an Israeli defense firm, that has been the target of direct action by the activist group Palestine Action. Palestine Action activists target Elbit Systems due to its alleged involvement in supplying weapons and technology used in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Filton is newsworthy because six Palestine Action activists were recently cleared of aggravated burglary charges related to a break-in at the Elbit Systems factory in Filton.
