Kalogi

Kalogi is a town located in Sudan's South Kordofan region. It has become newsworthy due to recent deadly attacks on civilian facilities. On Thursday, December 4, 2025, a drone attack targeted a kindergarten and a hospital in Kalogi. These attacks resulted in the deaths of at least 114 people, a significant portion of whom were children. The Sudan Doctors' Network and the Sudanese army have accused the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) of carrying out the attacks, describing them as 'deliberate suicide-drone attacks'. The RSF has not yet commented on the accusations. These events highlight the ongoing atrocities and the devastating impact of Sudan's civil war on civilian populations, particularly in vulnerable areas like Kalogi.
