Kalogi

Kalogi is a town located in Sudan's South Kordofan region. It has recently become newsworthy due to a series of deadly drone attacks targeting civilian infrastructure. On Thursday, December 4, 2025, a kindergarten and a hospital in Kalogi were struck, resulting in the deaths of at least 114 people, including 33 children. The attacks have been attributed to the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF), who are currently engaged in a civil war with the Sudanese army. The Sudan Doctors' Network has described the attacks as 'deliberate suicide-drone attacks' on civilian facilities.
