Sudan

Sudan is currently embroiled in a devastating war between the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF), exacerbated by foreign fighters and external support. This conflict has led to a severe humanitarian crisis, with hundreds of thousands displaced and lacking adequate shelter and aid, particularly in camps like Tawila in North Darfur. Recent events include RSF drone attacks on civilian targets, such as a court in North Kordofan, resulting in casualties, and attacks by rebel groups in South Kordofan. The UN has extended a partial arms embargo on the Darfur region while considering a nationwide ban.
