Macondo Park

Macondo Park, also referred to as the Shakira Stadium, is a temporary venue being constructed in the Villaverde district on the outskirts of Madrid. It is designed to host Shakira's European concert residency in September 2026. The stadium will have a capacity of 50,000 people, with 30,000 seated and 20,000 standing in the pit. Initially planned for three dates, the residency has expanded to six dates (September 18, 19, 20, 25, 26, and 27) due to high demand, and the artist's team has requested permits for up to ten dates. The event is expected to draw fans from across Spain and internationally. The venue will be open for twelve hours each day, promising a large-scale event. Pino Sagliocco, president of Live Nation Spain, has described the event as a major undertaking, potentially larger than Formula 1 events.
