Ningde

Ningde is a coastal city located in China's eastern Zhejiang province. It is prominently known as the headquarters of Contemporary Amperex Technology Ltd (CATL), the world's largest electric vehicle (EV) battery manufacturer. Recently, Ningde has been in the news due to its vulnerability to extreme weather events, with hundreds of thousands of residents in Zhejiang province being evacuated as Super Typhoon Bavi approached.
