The state of Paraná in southern Brazil has recently been the scene of tragic road accidents. Two separate, severe head-on collisions involving a bus and a truck have occurred on the BR-373 highway. The first incident, reported on a Wednesday morning, resulted in at least 23 fatalities and five injuries. The bus was reportedly carrying patients and healthcare workers to hospitals near Curitiba. A subsequent report detailed another collision on the same highway, also in Paraná, which claimed the lives of at least 21 people and injured four. This bus, identified as belonging to the health authorities of Imbituva, was also transporting patients. These events highlight the dangers of road travel in the region and have brought significant attention to the safety conditions on this particular highway.
