Sipi Falls

Sipi Falls, a series of three waterfalls located on the edge of Mount Elgon National Park in eastern Uganda, is a popular tourist destination known for its scenic beauty and adventurous activities. A school bus carrying children returning from an educational field trip to the Sipi Falls area crashed, resulting in the deaths of at least 20 schoolchildren and one adult. The incident led Ugandan authorities to suspend all school outings nationwide as investigations into the cause of the crash, believed to be mechanical failure, are underway.
