King David Junior School

King David Junior School is an educational institution in Uganda. The school has recently gained tragic notoriety due to a devastating bus accident that occurred on Thursday evening. The bus was transporting students back from an educational field trip to a waterfall when it crashed in the Kapchorwa area of eastern Uganda. Authorities have confirmed that at least 20 schoolchildren and one adult perished in the incident, making it one of the deadliest road accidents involving children in the country in recent years. Dozens of others, including school staff, sustained injuries. Preliminary investigations suggest a mechanical failure may have contributed to the crash. In response to this tragedy, Uganda has suspended all school outings. The incident highlights the critical need for enhanced safety measures for school transportation and educational excursions.
