An 11-year-old boy from Hong Kong Adventist Academy passed away after participating in a training run at the sports ground over the weekend. The student reportedly showed severe signs of heatstroke, including vomiting and fainting, shortly after completing a 400-metre run. He was rushed to Tseung Kwan O Hospital in an unconscious state but was later confirmed to have died. Following the incident, the school activated its crisis management team to offer counselling to students and staff and announced plans to meet with education officials.
