Tyros

Tyros is an ancient coastal city located in Southern Lebanon. It is currently newsworthy due to ongoing Israeli attacks in the region, reportedly targeting Hezbollah-related sites. These attacks have intensified recently, leading to casualties and displacement of residents. According to news reports, at least eight people were killed in Israeli attacks in Southern Lebanon. Despite the danger, some residents, including those of the Sankt-Thomas-Kathedrale, continue to gather for religious services, although the atmosphere is described as somber.
