Fresnes is a commune in the Val-de-Marne department, located in the southern suburbs of Paris, France. It is currently newsworthy due to the arrest of nine minors suspected of vandalizing the town hall. The incident occurred on Friday, March 27th, prior to the installation of the new mayor from the Les Républicains party. The suspects, aged 14 to 16 and largely from Fresnes, were taken into custody on Tuesday, March 31st. A tenth individual was later arrested. Police are still searching for four additional suspects believed to be involved.
