Dragados

Dragados is a construction company involved in large-scale infrastructure projects. They are currently newsworthy due to two separate events. First, two workers, Manuel Balber and Jesús Galván, reportedly affiliated with Dragados, staged a protest at the Navantia shipyard in Cádiz, Spain. They occupied a crane and displayed a banner alleging the existence of "blacklists" within the Cádiz Bay industry, suggesting unfair labor practices. Second, Dragados is involved in the expansion of Line 11 of the Madrid Metro. The "Mayrit" tunnel boring machine, used in the project, has commenced operations. This expansion is considered significant for improving Madrid's subway system.
