First Capital Command

The First Capital Command (PCC) is one of Brazil's two largest and most violent criminal organizations. Recently, the United States, under Secretary of State Marco Rubio, officially designated both the PCC and the Red Command (CV) as foreign terrorist organizations. This designation occurred despite strong opposition from Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva's administration. The US stated that these groups possess significant influence and illicit networks extending beyond Brazil's borders.
