Gauche Démocrate et Républicaine

The Democratic and Republican Left group is a parliamentary group in the National Assembly including representatives of the French Communist Party (PCF) as well as leftist parties with bases in Overseas France. Since 1 April 2025, the group has been co-presided by Stéphane Peu and Emeline K/Bidi, succeeding André Chassaigne, who led the group from 2012 to 2025.
