Missouri State Highway Patrol

The Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) is a state law enforcement agency responsible for traffic enforcement, criminal investigations, and public safety across Missouri. Recently, the MSHP has been involved in responding to a tragic plane crash that occurred near Butler Memorial Airport in Bates County. The aircraft, carrying a pilot and 11 passengers, was on a skydiving outing when it crashed shortly after departing the airport. All 12 occupants of the plane were killed in the incident.
