Doctors Without Borders (MSF) is an independent, neutral, and impartial organization that provides emergency medical aid in conflict zones and in countries affected by endemic diseases. Recently, MSF has been in the news for its accusations against Israel, stating that Israel has manufactured a malnutrition crisis in Gaza by restricting aid deliveries, leading to severe harm to pregnant women and newborns. MSF identified its first child malnutrition cases in Gaza in January 2024. Concurrently, MSF is also involved in responding to an Ebola outbreak in the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, where attacks on Ebola health facilities are intensifying due to growing mistrust and cultural clashes surrounding burial practices. These situations highlight MSF's critical role in providing essential medical care in challenging and often dangerous environments, addressing both acute crises and ongoing public health emergencies.
