The company is currently newsworthy due to its selection, alongside Irizar and Mercedes-Benz, to supply 120 electric buses to EMT Madrid, the municipal transport company. This contract, valued at over 95 million euros, signifies a significant investment in electric vehicle technology for Madrid's public transportation and highlights Solaris's position as a leading provider of electric buses in Europe. The new buses are scheduled for delivery over the next two years.
