Teufelsrad

The Teufelsrad, also known as the Devil's Wheel, is a historic and popular amusement ride at the Munich Oktoberfest. This attraction involves participants attempting to remain seated on a rapidly spinning wheel. Recently, the Teufelsrad has gained notoriety due to a significant upskirting scandal. Investigations revealed tens of thousands of voyeuristic videos, many filmed on the ride, circulating online and gaining millions of views. Some videos have even been monetized. In response to this issue, the operator of the Teufelsrad has begun distributing free cycling shorts to female riders to help prevent upskirting. This development highlights ongoing concerns about privacy and safety at public events and on amusement rides, making the Teufelsrad a focal point of recent news regarding these issues.
