The Tribunal de Arbitraje Deportivo (TAS), known in English as the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), is an international quasi-judicial body established to settle disputes related to sport through arbitration. Headquartered in Lausanne, Switzerland, CAS plays a crucial role in the governance and regulation of international sports. It was founded in 1984 and is overseen by the International Council of Arbitration for Sport (ICAS).
