Tumbler Ridge Secondary School is a high school located in Tumbler Ridge, a remote town in northeastern British Columbia, Canada, near the Rocky Mountains. The school is now the focus of international news due to a mass shooting that occurred on February 10, 2026. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) confirmed the incident, reporting that ten people died, including the suspected shooter, who is believed to have died from a self-inflicted injury. Six victims were found dead inside the school, while two additional victims were discovered at a nearby residence connected to the incident. Over 25 people sustained injuries, with some in critical condition, and were transported to hospitals.
