Typhoon

RAF Typhoons are multirole fighter jets operated by the Royal Air Force (RAF) of the United Kingdom. They are designed for air defense, interception, and ground attack roles. The Typhoons are currently newsworthy due to their involvement in responding to potential threats near NATO airspace. Recent events include RAF Typhoons being scrambled from a Romanian air base to intercept Russian drones approaching NATO airspace. While the Typhoons engaged the drones, they did not open fire and did not enter Ukrainian airspace. Additionally, Typhoons operating from RAF Akrotiri in Cyprus are participating in defensive missions against Iranian drones.
