Adeniyi Adeyemi Matthew is the director general of the Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC), a fictitious federal entity that was allocated approximately 1.3 billion naira (around $700,000) in Nigeria's 2026 national budget. The organization's existence and budget allocation have caused a significant political stir, especially as it emerged that the PFIPC has no legal basis. The controversy came to light when the president's chief of staff reported the alleged misuse of his signature and official seals.
