Aurélie

Aurélie is not a real person, but rather a fictional online persona created and used by Théo Denner, a 25-year-old man dubbed the "lumberjack of Doubs." Denner used this persona to lure 42 (originally 43) victims, mostly boys aged 13-19, into sharing compromising images and videos. He then blackmailed them using these materials. Denner's actions included sexual assault and rape against some of his victims. He was on trial in Besançon, Doubs, starting March 9, 2026, and confessed to the crimes, which occurred between 2018 and 2023. On March 25, 2026, he was sentenced to 18 years in prison. The prosecutor had requested a 20-year sentence, characterizing Denner as a meticulous sexual predator. The case highlights the dangers of online manipulation and the severe consequences of sextortion.
