

Dagvin Anderson
Person Military LeaderDagvin R. M. Anderson is an American general who has served as the commander of the United States Africa Command since 2025. He previously served as director for joint force development of the Joint Staff from 2022 to 2025. Prior to that, he served as the vice director for operations of the Joint Staff from 2021 to 2022. He has also commanded the Special Operations Command Africa from 2019 to 2021. He has achieved the rating of command pilot, with over 3,400 flight hours.
