David Taylor

David Taylor, 39, is the husband of Scottish Labour MP Joani Reid. He is a former Labour advisor. Taylor has recently become newsworthy due to his arrest on suspicion of assisting a foreign intelligence service, specifically accused of spying for China. This arrest was part of a wider investigation into national security offences related to China, conducted by counter-terrorism officers in London. Two other men, aged 43 and 68, were also arrested in connection with the same investigation. Following the arrest, Taylor, along with the other two men, was released on bail.
