Guojun Xuan

Guojun Xuan, a 66-year-old Chinese-born man, is currently facing serious legal charges in California. He and his wife, Silvia Zhang, have been arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit child abuse. The case involves a surrogacy scheme that resulted in at least 21 children being raised in their California mansion. Prosecutors are seeking an exceptionally high bail of US$100 million for each of them. Recent developments indicate that Xuan and Zhang allegedly directed nannies to physically punish the children, with the couple reportedly observing these acts through an extensive surveillance system and coaching the nannies. Fifteen children have already been removed from their home as part of the investigation. The case highlights concerns surrounding surrogacy arrangements and the alleged abuse of vulnerable children.
