Hillary Dawa Sherpa

Hillary Dawa Sherpa, a seasoned Nepali climbing guide also known by the name Dawa Sherpa, has been found alive after disappearing on Mount Everest. He was last seen on May 30th in the upper regions of the mountain, often referred to as the "death zone." His disappearance led to fears that he had died, and tragically, funeral rites had reportedly already begun for him. However, after six days missing, Sherpa was discovered crawling back towards Base Camp. He was found near Base Camp by members of the Sagarmatha Pollution Control Committee (SPCC). This remarkable survival story highlights the extreme dangers faced by climbers and guides on Everest and the resilience of those who navigate its challenging terrain.
