Kevin Rideout

Kevin Rideout, an American missionary working with the international Christian organization SIM International, has been released after being held captive for over nine months in Niger. He was kidnapped outside his home in the capital city of Niamey on October 21st by three armed individuals. Rideout was reportedly driven out of the country following his abduction. SIM International confirmed his release on a Friday, stating that he is in good health and under the care of US officials. He is expected to be reunited with his extended family soon.
