Lee Kian Lie

Lee Kian Lie was one of five individuals who were successfully rescued from a cave in central Laos. The group had become trapped underground for more than a week, reportedly while hunting for bats for food and searching for gold. Their entrapment led to a significant search and rescue operation, which faced challenges including heavy rains and equipment failures. Rescuers managed to locate and save five men, but the search for two additional individuals who remained missing was eventually called off due to safety concerns and the risky conditions within the semi-submerged cave.
