María Dolores López

María Dolores López is a magistrate within the Tribunal Superior de Xustiza de Galicia (TSXG), the High Court of Justice of Galicia. She is one of four magistrates who have recently been subject to a controversial forced transfer between sections within the court, a decision made by the new president of the Sala de lo Contencioso-Administrativo, María Azucena Recio. This move has sparked criticism from legal associations like Xustiza e Sociedade de Galiza and Juezas y Jueces para la Democracia (JJpD), who view it as an attack on judicial independence. López, along with Luís Villares (ex-líder de En Marea), was previously in the third section of the court.
