Narumi Kurosaki

Narumi Kurosaki was a Japanese student murdered in Besançon, France, in December 2016. Her body has never been found. She is newsworthy due to the ongoing legal proceedings against her ex-boyfriend, Nicolás Zepeda, a Chilean national, who has been convicted of her murder. Zepeda was initially sentenced to 28 years in prison, a verdict that was later overturned. After multiple trials and appeals, Zepeda has now been sentenced to life in prison by the Tribunal de lo Criminal del Ródano in Lyon. The court stated that it was convinced beyond a reasonable doubt that Zepeda premeditated Kurosaki's murder and disposed of her body.
