Paul Hounkpè

Paul Hounkpè is a Beninese politician representing the Forces Cauris pour un Bénin émergent (FCBE), described as a moderate opposition party. He recently ran as a candidate in the Beninese presidential election held on April 12, 2026, seeking to succeed outgoing President Patrice Talon, who is stepping down after serving two terms. Hounkpè's candidacy was notable as the main opposition party, the Democrats, did not field a candidate.
