Safiyah Riddle

Safiyah Riddle is a journalist whose recent work has shed light on a "quiet channel" between U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Iran. This channel reportedly shaped deportation flights between the two countries. Newly released emails, as reported by Riddle, provide evidence of this communication and its influence on these flights. Riddle's reporting on this sensitive international and immigration issue makes her newsworthy at this time. Her work highlights the complexities of U.S. deportation policies and diplomatic relations, particularly concerning Iran. The significance of her reporting lies in its potential to inform public discourse and policy discussions surrounding immigration enforcement and international cooperation.
