Tulia, a 64-year-old woman originally from Colombia, is the recent victim of femicide in Córdoba, Spain. Her ex-partner, from whom she separated in 2006, subjected her to years of violence and control. Two days prior to her murder, her ex-partner broke into her home armed with a hammer, damaging property and threatening her. He lived in the apartment above hers, making access easier.
