E/A-18G Growler

The EA-18G Growler is an electronic warfare aircraft operated by the U.S. Navy. These aircraft are currently newsworthy due to a recent mid-air collision incident. On Sunday, two EA-18G Growler jets from Electronic Attack Squadron 129, based in Whidbey Island, Washington, collided two miles from Mountain Home Air Force Base in Idaho during the Gunfighter Skies Air Show. Fortunately, all four crew members aboard the two aircraft ejected safely and were unharmed.
