Iran war live: US bombs Iran, Tehran retaliates on Gulf neighbours, Jordan

It says any explosions people are hearing are the result of air defence systems intercepting incoming drones, and authorities are urging everybody to follow safety and security measures.In Jordan, the army says 13 missiles entered the kingdom’s airspace. We understand 10 of them were destroyed, while three managed to penetrate, and landed in remote areas, far away from population centres.In Bahrain, people are also being urged to seek shelter after Iran said it launched what it described as a large-scale drone attack against Sheikh Isa airbase, targeting radar installations and areas where American forces were gathered.We do not have any independent confirmation of those attacks or the potential extent of any damage.Taking this together, we are seeing a major escalation across the region, with growing concern over whether the conflict will spill far beyond Iran’s borders.
