Albal

Albal is a municipality within the Valencian region of Spain that was affected by the 'dana' (isolated high-altitude depression) weather event in October 2024. It is now newsworthy due to the Valencian government's initiative to construct prefabricated housing in the area as part of the 'Plan Vive' program. This program aims to address housing needs in municipalities impacted by the 'dana'. Recently, the Vice President and Minister of Housing, Susana Camarero, presented plans for the industrialized construction of 30 new homes in Albal. These homes will be built in a 16,000 square meter facility and are part of a larger effort to provide housing solutions in over 60 municipalities within the 'dana' zone.
