Aviación Española

Aviación Española is an existing station on Line 10 of the Madrid Metro. It is currently newsworthy because of planned expansions to the metro line. Specifically, a new station is slated to be built on Line 10 between the Colonia Jardín and Aviación Española stops. This expansion was announced in December by Isabel Díaz Ayuso, the president of the Community of Madrid, during a visit to the assembly of the 'Mayrit' tunnel boring machine for the Line 11 expansion. The new station aims to improve service and accessibility in the area. The project is scheduled for completion in 2029, highlighting the ongoing development and modernization of Madrid's public transportation infrastructure and the continued importance of Aviación Española as a key station on the line.
