Broome

Broome, a town in Western Australia, recently served as the starting point for an extraordinary charity cycling expedition. Eighty-two-year-old Bob Montgomery embarked on a 3,300-mile (5,300km) journey from Broome to Bowral, south-west of Sydney, to raise funds for motor neurone disease. He completed this challenging feat, which he called "One Last Ride," alongside his 18-year-old grandson, Tom Malcolm. Tragically, Montgomery passed away peacefully just one day after finishing the ride. His dedication and the completion of such a significant endurance challenge at his age have made him a notable figure in recent news, highlighting his commitment to a charitable cause and inspiring many with his remarkable achievement.
