MND NSW

MND NSW is an organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by motor neurone disease (MND). Their work involves providing care, support services, and advocating for research and awareness. The organization has recently gained attention due to the remarkable fundraising efforts of 82-year-old Bob Montgomery. Montgomery completed an extensive 5,300km cycling journey across Australia, from Broome to Bowral, to raise funds for MND. Tragically, he passed away peacefully just one day after finishing this immense challenge, alongside his grandson Tom Malcolm. This event underscores the critical need for continued support and awareness for MND, highlighting the dedication of individuals like Montgomery and the vital role MND NSW plays in assisting those living with this progressive neurological disease.
