The Budhi Gandaki River, located in the central Gorkha district of Nepal, has recently experienced significant flooding. These flash floods have caused widespread damage, sweeping away houses, bridges, and even a portion of a hydropower station. Approximately 50 people have been rescued from the riverbanks, and while no casualties have been reported, at least five individuals are missing. This event follows earlier devastating floods in the country and highlights the ongoing vulnerability of communities along the river.
