Chakwal district

Chakwal District is a district within the Rawalpindi Division of Punjab, Pakistan. It is located on the Pothohar Plateau in northwestern Punjab, bordered by the districts: Talagang to its west, Rawalpindi to its northeast, Jhelum to its east, Khushab to its west. It was created out of parts of Jhelum and Attock districts in 1985.
