Dhahran

Dhahran is a city located in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. It is a significant location, particularly known for being the headquarters of Saudi Aramco, the state-owned oil company and one of the largest companies in the world. Dhahran has recently become newsworthy due to its being a target of Houthi missile attacks. In recent developments, Saudi Arabia announced the interception of missiles aimed at both Riyadh and Dhahran. The falling debris from these intercepted missiles resulted in injuries to people in the affected areas. This event highlights the ongoing conflict and the regional security concerns, as attacks on key Saudi cities and infrastructure underscore the volatile geopolitical situation in the Middle East. The proximity of Dhahran to vital oil facilities also adds to its strategic importance and the potential impact of any conflict on global energy markets.
