Harz

The Harz region in Germany is currently newsworthy due to two distinct issues highlighted in recent articles. Firstly, the police in the Harz district conducted checks on vehicles during the "Carfreitag" event, a popular tuning scene gathering. While the event was largely peaceful, numerous violations were discovered among the 267 vehicles inspected, including 89 vehicles with defects and 16 speeding violations. Secondly, the Harz region is mentioned in relation to the German Railway (Deutsche Bahn).
