First, a Kwai Tsing district councillor, Poon Chi-shing, was "sternly reminded" by the district officer regarding his conduct after illegally parking his car and obstructing a fire exit. This follows similar misconduct by another councillor, raising concerns about ethical behavior among district officials. Second, a voltage dip in the New Territories, investigated by CLP Power, resulted in multiple reports of people trapped in lifts. While the majority of reports originated from Sha Tin and Ma On Shan, Kwai Tsing also experienced this issue.
