Target Center

The Target Center, located in Minneapolis, is a multi-purpose arena that hosts a variety of events. Recent news highlights the venue's role in two distinct events. First, Bruce Springsteen launched his new tour at the Target Center, attracting fans from across the country and beyond. This concert is being framed as a form of resistance against perceived corruption. Second, the city of Minneapolis, including areas around the Target Center, has been the site of protests against the Trump administration's immigration policies and the presence of ICE. Thousands of demonstrators marched to protest ICE's actions, including the shooting death of Renee Good by an ICE agent. These events underscore the Target Center's significance as a gathering place for both entertainment and political expression within the Minneapolis community.
