JxCat

Junts per Catalunya (JxCat), often referred to as Junts, is a Catalan political party actively strategizing for the 2027 municipal elections. Following the decline and subsequent closure of PDECat (Partit Demòcrata Europeu Català) in September 2023 after it lost parliamentary representation at both the Catalan and Spanish levels, Junts is focused on consolidating the support base of the former Convergència Democràtica de Catalunya (CDC). A key objective is to bring together former CDC councilors under the Junts banner to strengthen their position in local politics.
